死後に何が残せるか／What can we leave for future generations?
昨日ご紹介した、 コーダー道場守谷。

The reason why Mr. Takamatsu (the champion) started CoderDojo Moriya is very nice so I wanted to share with you.
Basically, when he became around 50, he got a chance to teach programming to children and realized that it is very fun and makes children shine. Mr. Takamatsu wrote his first program when he was 19 and can’t forget the impression when the program moved as he wanted. So he wants to give the same feeling to children. Then he quotes Dr. Goto’s words.
“Those who die leaving money behind are lowly, those who die leaving work behind is at the intermediate level, and those who die leaving capable people behind is of the highest grade.” ( Dr. Shinpei Goto)
私も、少しでもこのブログが子どもたちの役に立ってくれればと思っているので、見習いたいです。
I am hoping that this blog will be useful for children even if it is a tiny bit, so I would like to remember the quote and keep trying to find what would be good for future generation.
